Extended scope physiotherapy

Joint injections in Stafford, without waiting for a GP

Good to know

Where is the clinic?

We are upstairs at Stafford Leisure Centre, Lammascote Road, Stafford ST16 3TA. There is a lift if you would rather not use the stairs.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking at the leisure centre: just ask the reception desk for a car park pass. There is also 2 hours free parking at ASDA, a short walk away.

Do I need a GP referral for a joint injection?

No. As extended scope physiotherapists we can assess you and, where appropriate, provide steroid or hyaluronic acid injections without a GP or consultant referral.

Can I claim through my health insurance?

We are recognised by major insurers including Bupa, AXA, Aviva, WPA and Vitality. Choose “I’m insured” when booking and bring your authorisation code.

Comfortable, loose clothing so we can assess and treat the area easily.
